This industrial-grade, flexible mounting tape offers a stable and moderate initial adhesion, making it suitable for permanent and reliable indoor and outdoor installations, especially in environments with extreme weather, moisture, and the need for a strong adhesive. The longer the tape is applied, the stronger the adhesive becomes.

LLPT's acrylic mounting tape boasts impressive holding power, with peel adhesion up to 17 lb/in and tensile strength up to 85 lb/square inch, as tested on stainless steel. The maximum recommended holding weight is based on objects with a depth of 0.75 inches or less.

To ensure optimal application, it's essential to follow the provided checklist: 1. Maintain an application temperature between 70°F and 100°F, with the tape laying flat without any wrinkles. 2. Avoid contamination and fingerprints on the adhesive. 3. Press the tape against the object and wall as firmly as possible. 4. Use a hand or plastic roller to remove any air bubbles between the object and the adhesive. 5. Heavily textured surfaces may lead to weak bonding strength due to excessive air. 6. For larger and heavier objects, apply the tape vertically and create an "X" mount to maximize the holding strength. 7. Do not use this tape on any type of painted wall, as it may damage the paint.

The curing process is crucial for achieving the full adhesion percentage. The surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. The ideal tape application temperature is between 70°F and 100°F (21°C and 38°C), and the bond should be allowed to dwell for 72 hours. Initial tape application at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended.

For a successful application, follow these simple steps: 1. Clean the surface as per the guidelines and ensure it's dry. 2. Peel the backing liner from the tape, taking advantage of the upgraded white oil paper for easier removal. 3. Cut the tape to the desired size and stick it on the object's surface. For larger and heavier objects, let the tape cure for at least 12 hours before mounting it to the wall. 4. Apply a firm press to secure the tape's position on the object and wall. 5. If the tape doesn't work on a particular surface, consider using an Adhesion Promoter first.
